Salvatore Reina is owner of Francesca Pizza & Pasta in Glen Rock and Elmwood Park, New Jersey. Francesca boasts two slice shops, two virtual brands and a school lunch program. Sal has years of experience in the industry, having first worked a restaurant job at the age of 14. He worked his way up from busboy to manager prior to transitioning to a different industry. In 2008, at the age of 26, Sal opened his first pizzeria in Elmwood Park. One of the things Sal is proudest of: five of the six original team members at his shop still work at Francesca. One of them is co-owner of the Glen Rock location, too. Sal is also proud to serve the communities that surround his two pizzerias by hosting local fundraisers, providing food to those in need, and hosting and participating in community events and always helping out where he can. Sal has recently received several local awards, including New Jersey’s 5th District & Tiffany & Co. Hometown Hero award. When not at the pizzeria, Sal has a wonderful wife, two incredible daughters and loves listening to hip-hop music, playing golf (just don’t ask him about his scores) and going to concerts and sporting events.
