Louise Joseph was born in New Haven, Connecticut, and proudly embraces her Cape Verdean heritage. With a deep appreciation for the culinary arts, inspired by their mother’s exceptional cooking skills, Louise has developed a passion for making food—and, especially, pizza. This passion led to the establishment of her mobile pizza truck, Dough Girls Pizza, based in Greenwich, Connecticut, which has been thriving for the past nine years.
Louise insists on mixing her pizza dough by hand and crafting fresh mozzarella in-house. She has been recognized in New Haven’s competitive pizza scene, winning 2nd place for both Best Cheese Pizza and Best Specialty Pizza in consecutive years.
In addition to running a successful business, Louise is actively involved in the Women’s Business Development Council, contributing to the empowerment and growth of women entrepreneurs.
